Great Barrington #1 Small Town
Tuesday, April 17th, 2012I always new Great Barrington was a Great place to live!
The Town has been voted #1 Best Small Town in America.
What a positive article about Gret Barrington.
If your thinking about a Second Home in the country check out Great Barrington.
We would be glad take you on a tour and show you some Special Properties
1. Great Barrington, MA
Big-city smart meets New England natural in an art-rich mountain setting.
You’ve got to slow down when Route 7 leaves behind the wide-open valley of the Housatonic River to enter Great Barrington. The road becomes
Railroad Street there, right of way to pedestrians stalled in the crosswalk trying to decide whether to have sushi or chimichangas for dinner.
Others carry yoga mats, bags of farmers market produce, books, CDs, double espressos and all the other stuff it’s hard to find in surrounding
Berkshire Mountain villages like Stockbridge and Lenox.

Monday, March 12th, 2012Berkshire Realtor – Dreaming Of The Beach
Thursday, June 16th, 2011
As a full time Berkshire, Ma resident and Real Estate Broker who lives in Great Barrington, Ma , this time of year i dream of the beach. As you know the Berkshires is the number 1 Summer Culture Capital of America, and also offers endless Summer Outdoor Activities, but because of it's location in the western most part of Massachusettes means it is not a coastal community. So i dream of summer beach houses.
This months article in Architectural Digest captured my fancy.
Here is a link to the article with some great photos of a beach house on Folly Beach in South Carolina.

I live in Great Barrington, Ma. and i can see from my own gardens that the blooms this season are full with what looks like rich color. As far as the effect on Berkshire Real Estate Sales, beautiful well maintained landscaping and gardens are eye candy. They help to create those magic words Curb Appeal.
For Berkshire visitors, Second Home Owners and year round residents the Lenox Garden Clubs annual tour ” Hidden Treasures of The Berkshires” will be July 9th.
