Berkshire Tourism

Glad to read today in The Berkshire Eagle that spending was up during the Berkshires peak tourism period.

Total visitors remain at about 2.5 million, visitor spending went from $319 million in 2009, to $337.2 million in 2010.  All in all it was a better summer then the previous year.  Although not to pre recession levels.  This mirrors  the slow recovery mood of the country.
